The Adaptive Sports Center offers college students and/or recent graduates the opportunity to gain practical work experience through our summer or winter internships. As an intern you will get hands on experience helping individuals with disabilities explore the outdoors in one of the most beautiful places in the world.

Western Springs Park District Summer Intern

Working on your degree in Recreation? Join the Park District of Western Springs this summer as an Intern and gain valuable experience. You will have an opportunity to work on achieving the goals and objectives of our District as well as your degree program for a well-rounded intern experience.

Key Responsibilities

As an Intern you will provide general support to the day-to-day functions of the department.

We are seeking candidates for our Recreation Internship opportunity for summer 2021 in Hinsdale, Illinois just outside of Chicago. We are a small parks and recreation department of the Village of Hinsdale.

Provides outdoor and nature education programs for youth and school groups.

Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks offer internships to any student enrolled in an accredited universtiy/college. Most positions are paid however some are volunteer only and not all locations offer housing.

Chicago Park District is looking for a Special Recreation Leader (Day Camp), Special Recreation Leader (Camp Sign), and a Inclusion Aide for summer of 2020.

Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore is a park that offers many learning opportunities to include: nature, history, culture, in classrooms, fieldtrips, and youth oriented teaching.

$6,000 for the semester and you get to work at a great agency!!!
