Bradford Woods operates 10 weeks of Recreation Therapy summer camps for children with cancer, sickle cell anemia, cerebral palsy, craniofacial anomalies, hearing loss, muscular dystrophy, autism, various physical disabilities, rare genetic disorders, and Down syndrome.

Northwest Special Recreation Association (NWSRA) enriches the lives of children and adults with disabilities through a partnership with 17 Park Districts located within the northwest suburbs of Chicago.  NWSRA provides outstanding recreation opportunities for people with disabilities within our partner Park Districts through weekly programs, adult day programs (PURSUIT), special events, day camps and inclusion in Park District programs.

The Traveling Gnomes are searching for Therapeutic Recreation Interns for January-May of 2024. From Denver, Colorado, The Traveling Gnomes look to provide inclusive and accessible travel opportunities to individuals with disabilities.

The National Sports Center for the Disabled is a leading provider of adaptive outdoor recreation and competition programs.  We offer a wide-range of therapeutic, goal-oriented recreational, adventure and competitive experiences to individuals with any disability aged five and older.

We currently have openings for instructors (year-round and seasonal) and college students looking for internships, and wondered if you might pass along the attached information to your students.

The Adaptive Sports Center offers college students and/or recent graduates the opportunity to gain practical work experience through our summer or winter internships. As an intern you will get hands on experience helping individuals with disabilities explore the outdoors in one of the most beautiful places in the world.
