The purpose of the job will be to assess, plan, develop, implement, and evalute therapeutic recreation programs for children and adults with disabilities. Lake Behavior Hospital in Waukegan, IL is looking to hire a couple Expressive Therapists to join their Expressive Therapy Department. Workers will have a chance to plan and execute enganging activities for patients and contribute to their treatment goals/overall wellbeing. King Adult Day Enrichment Program has 2 internships open for the summer and 3 open for the fall. The program is also searching for a full time CTRS to join the team, and would like to consider recent graduates for the position!

 The Channahon Park District is currently searching for a new Program Supervisor to oversee theirathletic programs and leagues, after school program, adult programs, and special events.

The Program Supervisor is responsible for performing the essential functions as outlined and is a full-time employee.

Northwest Special Recreation Association (NWSRA) enriches the lives of children and adults with disabilities through a partnership with 17 Park Districts located within the northwest suburbs of Chicago.  NWSRA provides outstanding recreation opportunities for people with disabilities within our partner Park Districts through weekly programs, adult day programs (PURSUIT), special events, day camps and inclusion in Park District programs.

Physical Medicine/ Rehab

Schwab is a 104 bed inpatient and outpatient rehab hospital. The recreation therapy department provides services for individuals with strokes, TBI, SCI, pediatrics and general rehab injuries. Recreation therapy also co-treats with PT/OT/Speech daily.
