Eastern State Hospital is a 287-bed state psychiatric hospital located in Medical Lake, WA. The hospital serves 22 counties within the eastern, central, and southern counties of Washington State

Community-based field experience opportunities working with people with disabilities. Will experience evening activities such as Special Olympics, craft night, game night, paper work-(leisure assessment, leisure review, Special Olympics). Additionally may perform activities in client group homes.

Site is available for pre-AFE field experience. (Not available for Advanced Field Experience at this time.)

We operate, under the direction of our Police Department, a Community Resource Center.  The focus of the center is provide recreational, educational and other after school activities for at risk children.  The internship would provide candidates with experience in coordination and implementation of various activities including administration, athletics, special events, tutoring and mentoring opportunities.  Willing to work with university to provide educational/intern opportunity to college student.  This is an unpaid opportunity.

Every season we are looking for eight motivated, energetic, individuals to join our team. Our internship program requires staff to live on camp grounds, providing room and board, and also allots a weekly stipend.
