Levindale Hebrew Geriatric Center and Hospital, is currently hiring for 2 Full Time Recreation Therapy positions.
Recreation Therapist, Hospital: Provides a continuum of Assessment, Planning, Implementation and Evaluation of outcome-based Treatment, Leisure Education and Recreation Participation interventions for patients as ordered by the physician and / or designated by the Manager.
Provides Physician Ordered, billable treatment to a diverse population including Acute Rehab, Chronic Care, Ventilator Dependent and Gero - Psych. CTRS with one year experience or internship in a Rehab / Hospital setting.
Hall 2 Recreation Therapist: Provides a continuum of Assessment, Planning, Implementation and Evaluation of outcome-based Recreation Participation interventions for patients as ordered by the physician and/or designated by the Manager in a Long Term Care Facility.
Requirements: Basic professional knowledge; equivalent to a Bachelor' [2];s degree; 1-3 years experience; Pul-sox; monitor heartrate and oxygen stats. Prefer CTRS or eligible.
