The Heartland Region Student Summit is a conference for students by students. Experiential learning from convening committee to closing circle, this event brings together students interested in outdoor recreation and experiential education through engaging student-presented workshops, professional development sessions and speakers, and entertaining networking opportunities.
This three-day, student-centered outdoor recreation and education conference will take place at the Touch of Nature Environmental Center [1], in the heart of Southern Illinois' [2]; Shawnee National Forest. Event dates are Thursday, April 3rd through Saturday, April 5th, 2014.
