River Bend Hospital is looking for interns.
River Bend Hopsital is a 16 bed, acute care, adult, psychiatric hospital. River Bend Hospital services 9 northern Indiana counties and has a wide variety of functional level patients. Students will have the opportunity to learn therapeutic recreation practices to deliver education oriented therapy. Students will participate in treatment planning meetings, development and implementation of therapeutic recreation practices, and a wide variety of administrative duties.
The Recreation therapy intern will also work and participate in a treatment tram of social workers, nurses, psychiatrists, and a psychologist.
Typical hours are Monday-Friday, 7:30-4pm. Lunch is provided daily, by the dietary department. Drug screen and backgrohnd check is required. Please call or email Laura Thornton for more information or to apply.
