Ready Set Ride Therapeutic Facility is a non-profit organization that is focused on providing equine therapy for individuals with special needs. Their barn is located in Plainfield, IL.

 

Therapy riders as young as 3 years old work on improving core strength, executive function skills, attention/focus, anxiety, and other needs. Therapy sessions run 4 days/week (Sundays 11-3, M-W 4-7pm). There are typically three sets of sessions (Spring, Summer, Fall).

 

Ready Set Ride is in need of volunteers for a variety of barn activities year round.

 

Ready Set Ride will be starting their Spring Session of lessons in early April and are in need of individuals to help out with equine therapy (training provided) on Sundays from 11-3pm and Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays from 4-7pm; in edition of needing volunteers for early mornings.
