Camp High Hopes in Sioux City, IA TR Internships FL18and SP19

My name is Samantha Martin and I am the Program Director at Camp High Hopes.  We are a camp located in Sioux City, Iowa that serves children, youth, and adults with special needs, disabilities, and chronic medical conditions.   

We have begun recruitment for our sixth season and are reaching out to colleges and universities with Therapeutic Recreation programs to offer TR internships (Fall 2018, and Spring 2019) to their students.  Our internship dates for Fall internships will be Early September through mid-December and our internship dates for Spring 2019 are Mid-January through April 30^th.  All internships are 15 weeks in length to meet NCTRC requirements.  I have attached a description of our internship program, and an Intern Handbook to review.
