This individual should be well versed in outdoor experiences, prepared to lead Camping trips (four nights), facilitate adventurous activities (canoeing,kayaking, rock climbing) and be an outgoing and creative person to head up this program. Previous outdoors experience is preferred, as well as leadership and organizational skills. Requirements include certification or the ability to be certified in Wilderness First Responder or Wilderness First Aid (courses can be provided) as well as the ability to conduct themselves as a positive leader in an intense outdoors experience. r - this individual should have experience in coaching others and supervising. They will oversee the staff and all of our activities areas and helping ensure that our programming is focused on skill development and helping campers feel accepted, challenged, and empowered.
These individuals will live in pairs in the cabin with kids. They will be responsible for the fun that goes on over the course of the week, leading activities and instructing in various activities, and creating a cabin culture that focuses on relationship building. Individuals applying should be college aged, with a passion for serving children, and able to work long hours in the summer camp environment, and most important, be a kid at heart! **Due to gender ratio in a residential camp experience, we have filled positions for female staff - however, applications can still be submitted**
