The Woodlands Township is seeking one (1) intern to assist the Parks and Recreation Department in the summer of 2017. The purpose of this position is to further the student's understanding and experience in the field of the parks and recreation (summer camps, recreation center operation, special events, races). $5,000 stipend for a semester long internship.
Qualifications:
Students in either a Bachelors or Masters program in Parks and Recreation management or closely related fields (sport management, natural resources, public administration, and forestry). FA/CPA required. One year of experience in the field (parks and recreation, sports management, forestry, etc.) and a valid driver's license.
