The student would have the entire experience of implementing an event from the planning stage to its closing. Examples include:
Develop an event proposal.
Recruit volunteers for the event.
Gather donations and sponsors for the event.
Market the event.
Implement the event.
Furthermore, the student could have the option to get involved more exclusively with the organization by:
Assisting in other Society events.
Building volunteer base.
Increasing reoccurring donations.
Marketing coordination.
Hours can be based on the University standards/student needs. Tasks can also be added or modified to meet class requirements. Since we are a not-for-profit agency, the student would acquire the field experience as compensation. The student would be under direct supervision of myself throughout the entire period of time.
