We hope this finds you well! We have had amazing interns from your University in the past, and we wanted to invite students from your program to apply for our internship again for the Spring 2015 semester! Job Summary: Camp Duncan is looking for 7 interns to join our Group Services team for the Spring Semester (February 16-June 12). Ideal candidates will be committed, energetic, and enthusiastic individuals that are working toward a degree in Parks & Recreations or in the hospitality field. Hours can be long – some days can begin at 7am and some days can end at 9pm. Room and Board Provided.

Scope of Responsibilities: Responsible for assisting in the continued development of the Outdoor Education Program. Responsibilities include leadership, utilizing teambuilding, ropes and climbing wall, and Environmental Education. Candidate will be expected to facilitate teambuilding activities including, ropes (both high and low) and climbing programs. Responsible for teaching environmental education programs. Assist with weekend adventure programming and further development of all programs. There is also a large focus on customer service and safety.

Requirements: Ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter. Candidate must possess the ability to perform moderate physical activity, adapt to changing work conditions, work with diverse groups of people, and work with minimal supervision. Good organizational skills and the ability to communicate effectively with people are required.

Candidates must commit to one semester (Spring 2015) and commit to working 40+ hours a week. Room and board is provided at Camp Duncan, in addition to a stipend.
