SWSRA has positions available for those in Therapeutic Recreation, Special Education, and Occupational Therapy.
Skills gained throughout camp:
Advance skills to work with individuals with disabilities of all ages
Develop, plan & implement: various activities: for all age groups
Leadership: endless opportunities to become a leader
Team Work: counselors learn how to communicate, compromise and lend a helping hand to their co-workers
Problem Solving: A rainy day can turn an outdoor activity to an impromptu indoor game.

Work day is 9:45AM-3:00PM o Monday- Friday o 28-35 hours a week
7 weeks of camp + 1 week off for the 4th of July
Weekly staff nominations:
o Counselor of the week
o Best dressed (different themes each week)
Swimming outdoors
Weekly field trips
Free Day camp t-shirt
Assist in planning Talent Show acts with the campers
Pay rates based on years of experience
Drivers (21 yrs. & up) get a higher pay rate
