Here is a brief overview of who we and what we do…NWSRA was formed in 1974 to provide a full spectrum of programs and services for individuals with disabilities. NWSRA is a partnership of seventeen park districts in the northwest suburbs of Chicago committed to supporting community access to recreation for people with disabilities. We are the largest SRA in Illinois. More importantly, we can provide hardworking staff with opportunities for professional growth, career advancement and professional involvement!
As we enter 2016, we are gearing up for a another jam packed year here at NWSRA.
·In the next 3-5 years, we have several staff in key positions retiring and we are planning to implement a Succession Planning Tool with our staff to help identify those individuals that are looking to advance and assist in their preparation for that next step.
·We are using 2016 as a Strategic Planning year
·and we are preparing to go through the IPRA Distinguished Accreditation process.
Lots of exciting stuff happening here and I need your help finding some dynamic leaders who are ready to step into a Coordinator role at a large SRA.
Attached are the job descriptions for our Support Staff Coordinator and our Inclusion Coordinator positions which are currently open. The posting for these positions can also be found on IPRA. Interested candidates can apply at www.nwsra.org/jobs or may also contact Trisha Breitlow, Superintendent of Administrative Services, at Tbreitlow@nwsra.org or call her at 847-392-2848 ext. 260 for further information.
