We are looking for an intern to help out with our School Incentive Program, which the University of St. Francis sponsors. Since the university sponsors the program, we'd love to have a St. Francis student fill the intern position. We'd love the person to be able to start on a volunteer basis prior to Thanksgiving and then do a semester internship beginning in January.
The main goal of the incentive program is to reward kids for academic achievements. The intern would help contact schools, explain the program, and follow up with the schools by sending the appropriate materials and forms. They'd also help schedule mascot appearances at these schools.
The internship would also teach about other aspects of a minor league baseball front office. I've attached the general internship description. Anyone interested can send a resume to me via email or call me at 815-651-2040 with any questions.
