Please consider this invitation to apply for an exciting and rewarding position as graduate research assistant in our Joseph and Elda K. Bradberry Youth and Experience Design Laboratory at Texas A&M University in College Station ( https://aglifesciences.tamu.edu/byedl/research-programs/ )! As a graduate research assistant, while you study for your masters or doctoral degree, with your tuition and fees paid, you will also work closely with faculty members and other graduate students on research that addresses questions such as these:
· What features of youth programs produce quality experiences for participants? What features elevate or accelerate learning and promote physical, ethical, intellectual, and social development?
· What strategies are being used by youth-serving organizations (4-H, camps, clubs, sport programs, special interest organizations) to ensure quality experiences? How effective are those strategies? How can continuous quality improvement programs be best designed and implemented?
· What family recreation experiences yield resilience and cohesiveness of families?
· Can concepts and techniques of quality management be used to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of youth-serving organizations?
Your Graduate Research Assistant position will be for fall and spring semesters, 20 clock hours per week. You will receive a nationally competitive stipend for the period and your tuition and fees will be paid for full-time graduate studies. Options for summer are also available for interested students.
