Prospective Masters and PhD Students in Outdoor Recreation & Human Dimensions of Natural Resources
Natural Resources Science and Management Graduate Program

The University of Minnesota and the graduate program in Natural Resource Science and Management are recruiting for highly qualified Masters and PhD students to work in the area of outdoor recreation and the human dimensions of natural resources. At least one degree in outdoor recreation, forestry, or related field is preferred.
Applicants should have an interest in conducting research in one of the following areas:
• visitor behavior, with particular attention to constraints and coping with constraints:
• preferences and experiences of diverse populations for outdoor recreation and nature-based tourism
• outdoor recreation management practices, policies, and programs;
• sustainable tourism and related concepts and their implementation:
Funding in the form of competitive research assistantships is available for candidates with the right fit and fellowship support may be available.
