Marketing Manager
The Chicago Southland Convention & Visitors Bureau is seeking an individual to assist in marketing Chicago’s 62 south & southwest suburbs as a destination to leisure travelers, meeting planners, group tour operators, and sports rights holders. You will be part of a three-person integrated marketing and communications team that strives to continually raise the bar with the integration of online and print marketing materials.
The position requires knowledge, skill and mental development equivalent to completion of a bachelor’s degree; hospitality and tourism marketing experience preferred.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Developing and producing marketing materials
- Coordinating CVB events
- Maintaining social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, etc.)
- Copy writing and editing
- Minor website maintenance through Adobe Contribute
- Other duties as part of the marketing team
Computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook are required. Constant Contact, Photoshop and InDesign experience a plus.
