Camp PossAbility exists to give young adults with physical disabilities a week to empower the mind, body, and spirit through social enrichment and outdoor adventure. They work with people from ages 18 to 35 who have spinal cord injuries, Cerebral Palsy, Spina Bifida, or Muscular Dystrophy. They are looking for 40 volunteers this July who can help participants with dressing, toileting, transferring, eating, and participating in camp activities.
To register, visit, www.camppossability.org/volunteers. The only cost is $25 to register plus the cost of a background check (varies per state). All meals, lodging, and 2 t-shirts are covered for the week.
