Apply now for a $400 scholarship to attend the Annual Soaring to New Heights Conference in Chicago, January 25-27, 2024. This conference is an opportunity to attend educational courses and connect with Park and Recreation Professionals from all over.
Deadline:
Applications must be submitted by January 21st, 2024.
Process:
Upon submittal scholarship applications are sent to a University/College representative. The College/University then submits their recommendation to be reviewed under the Illinois Park and Recreation Foundation which oversees the funding of scholarships. Each scholarship is designated to be used for the Annual IPRA/IAPD Soaring to New Heights Conference. Each scholarship will be for the amount of $400.
The Illinois Park and Recreation Foundation president will notify the applicant(s) when a decision has been made. If awarded a scholarship, please register for the event and pay required fees in full. Scholarship awardees will then be reimbursed after submitting a reflection of their conference experience.
